Laura is German by birth, and grew up in France, before attending an international college in the UK, where she has now lived for more than 30 years.​​
Laura provides fun and informative tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students studying French and German, specialising in increasing confidence when speaking a foreign language.
Laura also offers private tutoring for people of all ages who wish to develop their language skills, with a focus on conversational development and confidence.
Laura works as a P/T MFL assistant at the prestigious Reading Blue Coat School, where she specialises in supporting students in speaking in their language of study.

Nick
English Literature, Film Studies & Workplace Readiness
Nick loves inspiring passion in students that ensures
that studying film or written texts is both enjoyable and informative, helping them develop a lifelong
appreciation of movies, novels and poetry.
​
From exploration of creative techniques, analysis,
context and evaluation, Nick helps students to uncover
meaning in text and films, working with them to develop essay techniques that allow them to articulate
effective arguments.
​
Nick studied English Literature and Film Studies at A-Level, and obtained a 1st class Honours Degree in Media
and Film Studies at Royal Holloway College.
After a 25 year career in TV production working for organisations including Sky, BBC, NOW and
Bloomberg LP, Nick set up Liminal Steps Consulting,
and works as a career coach and leadership
consultant to the media industry.

He has written and published two novels.
